As educators, we often face stressful moments—whether it’s student engagement, challenging behaviors, or tough conversations with colleagues and parents. These situations can trigger quick reactions that leave us feeling drained or disconnected. In this course, we’ll explore how the nervous system works under pressure and practice simple, science-based tools like “pause, notice, choose” to shift from reacting on autopilot to responding with clarity and care.
Mindful Monday Reset is a six-week professional learning experience designed to support educators in cultivating balance, resilience, and well-being. Grounded in connection and peer-to-peer learning, this course provides practical strategies for self-care and regulation within a psychologically safe community.
Participants will explore six core areas of personal and professional growth:
- Exploring Self-Discovery – building awareness of strengths and values
- The Language of Emotions – recognizing and communicating emotions effectively
- Empathy and Connection – fostering authentic, supportive relationships
- Cultivating Emotional Agility – moving from automatic reaction to intentional response
- Nurturing Resilient Energy – sustaining energy in the face of daily challenges
- Building Lasting Resilience – integrating practices for long-term well-being
By the end of the series, educators will have a toolkit of evidence-based practices to manage stress, enhance emotional awareness, and strengthen their capacity to be the best version of themselves.
