Freddy is a native of Tucson, Arizona and a proud Wildcat as a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he studied Mexican American History. He worked for over 20 years as a high school teacher, administrator and coach. He was appointed to serve on the State Board for Charter Schools. Currently, his time is most spent as an Advanced Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer, Educational Consultant, and a Conscious Leadership Facilitator focusing on community/team building and communication. He enjoys working as a problem solver and remodeler of older buildings and homes. He is married to his beautiful and talented high school sweetheart, Debbie. He is also a proud father, son, brother, uncle and cousin to a large and close-knit family. His passions include spending time outside, playing guitar and fixing/repairing old things. These “old things” include patterns, thought processes, traditional practices and ways of being that are limiting and can be divisive. He believes that through community, relationships and engaging with each other at a heart level, generational healing can occur.
