SEL Activities: Greatness Kids

Learn to utilize the Greatness Kids Initiative (GKI), a curriculum aimed at introducing young individuals to a potent social-emotional framework that empowers them to flourish. It offers engaging and user-friendly activities that are aligned with the Nurtured Heart Approach.
 
These activities are crafted to aid children of all age groups in realizing their full potential and harnessing their intensity in constructive ways. These activities have been rigorously tested with students from PreK-12 and can be customized to cater to students of varying ages. Remarkably, the Greatness Kids curriculum has also proven successful in adult training sessions and meetings.
 
Participants in Greatness Kids groups will:
• Recognize that they don't need to resort to negative behaviors to receive attention
 
• Develop the ability to identify and understand positive qualities in both themselves and others
 
• Realize that they can establish their own clear boundaries and can "reset" themselves to exhibit positive behaviors/make the right choices
 
During this training, participants will explore the three Stands of the Nurtured Heart Approach and will actively participate in GKI activities, serving as a model for incorporating these activities into any youth-oriented setting as part of a social-emotional curriculum.
