2 hrs | 4 hrs

All human beings operate with varying degrees of implicit bias. Implicit bias (also called unconscious bias) is an unintended people preference which has the ability to adversely impact the effective operations of any organization.

This workshop will explore the various types of implicit bias, the origins of implicit bias, the conduct that arises out of implicit bias, which is called a “micro-behavior” and the proper ways to address and resolve conduct that arises from this bias mindset. This workshop is designed for both staff and managers/supervisors. The workshop contains lecture, small group exercises and hypothetical scenarios.
